In Memory

Ramona Manes

Ramona Alta Manes

Ramona Alta Manes left her shell and became a free spirit at the age of 67. She started out in California on April 18th 1958 and was the daughter of Jesse D. Manes and Rita (no last name). From a young age Mona was adventurous and made her way across country to Kansas. That is where she met the father of her daughter Amber. Kansas is where she raised her daughter and once Amber started working, she started traveling.
Nothing ever seemed to slow Mona down. When she made plans, she stuck to them and did whatever she to do necessary to make it happen. One day she went to the Black Hills National Forest in South Dakota on vacation and stayed for 5 years. She made home there in Custer S.D. During that time Amber started a family and Mona wanted to be closer, so she called her long term boyfriend to come get her. That is when she chose Inman Ks to be her home for the next 20yrs.
There is nothing in this world Mona loved more than her daughter, grandkids, boyfriend, friends, being Choctaw Indian, adventures, and ROCKS. She enjoyed the simple things and she never met a stranger.
Ramona is preceded in death be her brothers: Robert Manes, Allen Jervis, John Jervis, Mark Jervis, sister Dee-Dee Manes-TInkham, father Jesse D. Manes and mother Rita.
